Sons of Resolve

Psalm 139:14 says that we were fearfully and wonderfully made. There is power in God’s creation.

Incredible power.

The world will try to deceive you, though. It will remind you of your past. It will fill you with doubt.

It will tell you that you’re not worthy.

So, we keep hoping to become worthy of God’s favor. The thing is, though: we’ll never prove ourselves worthy.

That’s the wonderful thing about God’s mercy: we don’t have to earn it. It’s given freely to those who ask for it.

Stop waiting to ask.

Ask right now and He will give it to you.

If you keep waiting, you’re doing exactly what the dark forces of this world want. You’re falling right into its playbook.

Something I have to constantly remind myself of is that Jesus was faced with the same dark temptations that we are. But He didn’t strike down the tempter. He armed Himself with God’s Word.

With everything Satan threw at Him, He responded with the Word of God.

The enemy has no defense for this.

This is one fight you don’t have to be strong in.

Whatever you’re struggling with, whatever is keeping you from asking God for grace and mercy—don’t let it stop you from going to Him.

Trust Him to fight for you.

There is great peace in this.
